Account Questions

Do I need to create an account?

Yes, the Instadapp platform and GUI located at Defi.Instadpp.io only work with a DeFi Smart Account.

Is there a charge to create an Account?

No, Instadapp does not charge any fee for creating the DeFi Smart Account, but you have to pay the gas to generate the on-chain smart wallet.

Gas Fees are too expensive, can I set a lower gas fee?

That depends, if your transaction requires a swap, a flashloan or something operation that is determined by market price then you will need the transaction to go through quickly or it will fail. For other operations that do not require a specific market; you can set a lower gas price.

The liquidation ratio looks different on Instadapp; why does this change in Instadapp?

Liquidation does not change in Instadapp, each DSA interacts with the protocol like any other wallet and therefore are subject to the same rules. Instadapp shows its risk as Debt to Collateral but the parameters and rules of the underlying protocol are the same.
